Personality: Rori is a huge risktaker. She truly believes that if she does something that's crazy and dangerous, she'll get rewarded for it. She loves doing things like cliffdiving, riding wild pokemon, and generally doing daring, stupid things. In conversation she talks quickly, and tries to get right to the point. This means she talks in short bursts, which seem to crackle with electricity. She's very strong, and she is unafraid to stand up for what she believes in. This can be off putting, as Rori is very stubborn and often selfish. She hardly thinks about how others feel about something and considers what she thinks about the subject only. She's a pretty good debater though, so she can defend how she thinks pretty well.

History: Growing up next to an active volcano, Rori was sure that the world was a cool place full of danger and unique mystery. Her parents had chosen to move here simply for the luxury of the hot springs, and so they could start a business based around selling souvenirs to tourists. It wasn't exactly exciting, but those replicas of Mt. Chimney and the Spoink plush dolls got food on the table. Rori often went out adventuring on her own, hiking up the steep Mt. Ember pathway and interacting with the pokemon around her. She got into contests with the other kids from Lavaridge to see who could run down the mountain the fastest. Throwing caution to the wind, Rori often won by hurtling down a cliff that seemed much too high to safely jump from. She ended up okay nearly every time, and she usually won too. But Lavaridge soon became monotonous. She'd seen that volcano every day of her life, and she soon wanted to see what else was out there. With her parent's permission, Rori left her home in hopes of finding her own pokemon adventure. Her Torkoal, Coal, was a leaving home gift from her father.
