She stood triumphantly. She had arrived within Celadon City, a magnificent city in which was bustling with activity. Though the girl would've simply adored the thought of shopping, she was determined to gather yet another badge so she could further herself as a trainer. But she had decided that, deserving of a rather boastful celebratory break, herself and her pokemon she carried with her would relax and bask in the wonderous city of Celadon.
Terrie had been content to play with her pokemon and feed them. She had always been taught that proper care was one of the best ways to raise a pokemon. Her current partners consisted of her Pikachu, her dear friend and traveling partner, whom she adopted from Pewter City. Her starter from Johto, who grew with Terrie was now a strong Bayleaf. The grass type often showed itself as a docile friend. Next was Nidorina and Butterfree, two of her pokemon that she caught on her own. She was proud of both of them, but Butterfree had won her the very first badge, the Boulder Badge from Brock of Pewter City. She always uses that battle to remind herself to never give up.
But as she sat with her pokemon, she had a sense of longing. She had only ever had so many friends that weren't pokemon, but Terrie shook it away. She would challenge the gym later on, when she felt confident. Until then, she would spend time letting her pokemon bask in the luxury she provided them with. She could hear the rustle of the grass, footsteps approched Terrie....
