BlackFyre's Pokemon Adventure [3rd Person Adventure]

BlackFyre looked out of his bedroom window. "Today's the day," he thought. He got up and went downstairs, followed by his loyal poochyena. To his suprise, his mother was waiting for him. "Fyre, good morning. Are you ready to go already?" "Yes," he replied. As he started heading for the door, his mother called to him. "Aren't you forgetting something," she said, pointing to BlackFyre's backpack. "I completely forgot about my backpack," he said, grabbing his pack off the floor.
"Good luck. Don't forget to check back here sometime to see your mother," she said as Fyre walked out the door, followed by poochyena.

Fyre headed for the exit of the city, when suddenly Selena appeared. "Fyre," she said, "Are you leaving us already?" Fyre nodded. Selena picked for something in her pocket. "I want you to have this as a reminder of Opelucid City." She handed him a small dragon necklace. "Good Luck," she said, and Fyre, followed by poochyena, left.

Immediately after they left the town, they started following the dirt paths on the ground. After a few moments, Fyre stopped to looked at a tree, noticing something moving on the tree.

**Long Story Short: I know I didn't explain where Poochyena came from, but I will say that it randomly crept into town, and that his mother caught it and gave it to him shortly before he started this adventure**

A small green orb appeared between the leaves. Spotting Fyre, it made its way out of the tree, floating down to his level. Anyone from the area should be able to tell, but the species was a Solosis. The small Pokémon hung in mid air before te trainer and his partner, examining then curiously.

Fyre looked at this creature, not knowing what it is. Suddenly he just remembered that he had not went to receive his pokedex, so he decided he would just fight the creature.
Fyre told Fang (the poochyena) to use tackle to either scare off the solosis, or try to defeat it..

Solosis quickly shot back into the air, hovering out of the Pokémon's reach. It looked at the canine, trying to viciously bite it, and its eyes started to well up with tears. It began crying, not enjoying being so rudely attacked, though apparently too immature to properly fight back.

Fyre looked at the creature, a little saddened that it dodged so easily. He took one more look, and told Fang to come back. Hoping the Solosis won't follow him, he went onward.

It wasn't too much further down the road, when a young girl ran up to Fyre. She appeared to be somewhere between ten and thirteen, though exacts were hard to tell. She had medium black hair pulled up into a pony tail, wearing blue jean shorts and a black tank top. "Hey, you're a teainer, right?" she asked, looking between Fyre and Fang. "Well so am I, so we should have a Pokémon battle!" she announced, devious smirk on her face while pulling out a red and white pokeball and expanding it.

Fyre was a little spooked that the girl randomly came from nowhere, but since she wanted to battle, he wasn't gonna turn her down. "Alright, Let's go," Fyre said, telling Fang to prepare himself.

The girl grinned, stepping back and tossing up her pokeball. "Come on out, Natu!" she called, as the ball burst open. The light it revealed formed into a small green bird, the ball returning to the girl's hand. "We're pretty new at this, but don't underestimate us!" she said, pointing to the poochyena. "Natu, start off with a peck attack!" The small bird hopped over toward Fang, attempting to hit him with its beak.

Fyre saw the bird incoming, and told Fang to try to dodge the attack and use Tackle.

Natu jumped back quickly, out of the way of the tackle. Being small had its advantages, such as being a small target. The trainer smirked, "I see how it is, Natu use Quick Attack!" the girl ordered. The small bird nodded, seeming to disappear with its blinding speed, rushing toward Fang!

Fang looked around as fast as he could, but he just wasn't quick enough. The bird swiped him good, as he stumbled backwards. Fyre saw his poochyena in trouble, and told him to try another tackle.

Natu was enjoying its mini victory, basking in its own glory. However, doing so allowed for Fang to tackle the tiny bird, sending it tumbling. It hopped back to its feet, staring at the pooch. "Try another peck!" The trainer ordered, pointing to the black and grey canine. Natu nodded, again hopping over and attempting to peck the poochyena with its sharp beak!

Fang, now happy that he actually landed a good hit, was also unbeknownst to the attack. The bird was able to peck his head, and more than likely gave the poor poochyena a headache. This didn't make him very pleased, so he fire shining in his eyes when Fyre told him to try to tackle the pokemon again. The now angry pooch rushed as fast as he could, determined to send that bird flying.

Natu, being so close after the peck had no time to rwact. It was sent flying back, crashing at its trainer's feet. It was a Critical Hit! Natu got back up, looking rather weakened. "One more quick attack!" the girl called desperately. The battle was drawing to a close. Natu nodded, dashing quickly once more at Fang with blinding speeds!

Fyre saw this and thought that this was his last chance. It was time to end this battle once and for all. He commanded at Fans, "Use tackle, win this battle!" With that command, the poochyena started rushing at the bird as it was coming towards him.

The two collided head on, causing both to recoil backward. Natu went tumbling to the ground. Weakly, it attempted to lift itself back up, before collapsing back to the earth. "Natu! Natu...return," The girl said, clearly panicked at first, then returning the bird to its ball afterward. "You aren't too bad, but I suggest training some on your own," she said as she looked down to the weakened poochyena. "See, Natu is actually my weakest Pokémon, and even she gave you a run for your money. Pokémon around here wont be so easy," the girl noted, approaching Fyre. She held her hand out, transferring $300 to his account via mobile dex link. She offered to shake his hand, then left shortly afterward. Poochyena gained 2 EXP! Poochyena leveled up! Poochyena is now level 3!

Fyre looked a little sad, angry, and happy all at the same time. He was proud that his friend was able to defeat the foe, but he had been beaten miserably in the process. Fyre watched as the girl walked away, immediately hurrying to his poochyena, and picked him up. He was going to head for the nearest pokemon center, so that is exactly where he went for.

The familiar red roofed building was soon spotted, the inviting pokeball logo lit up as the sign. Inside, the mart counter would be off to the right, and the pink haired Nurse Joy toward the back behind her counter. The Pokemon Centers nowadays were becoming more and more high tech including virtual link centers where you could trade Pokemon over a global internet link. However, that wasn't why Fyre was here, and surely that back desk was his destination. The Nurse greeted him cheerfully, and gladly healed his Poochyena for him.

Fyre decided that he should buy some healing items before he leaves in case he can't get to a pokemon center, and asks the nurse where he is, where a store id, and about the weather.

Nurse Joy nodded with a smile. "Sure thing, if you want to buy items like potions just head on over to that desk over there," she said, lifting her finger to point to the kiosk near the front door. It was set back a little, but the shelves behind the counter clearly displayed such trainer items as pokeballs and potions, all essential for a journey.

Fyre told Nurse Joy 'Thanks", and then he headed for the counter. He thought it was necessary to have a few healing items. When he arrived at the counter, he asked the clerk "May I purchase 5 super potions and 2 full restores for my journey?". Fyre awaited an answer, Fang standing beside him.

The man behind the counter nodded, "Sure thing, wait right here and I'll ring ya up!" He walked back to the shelf, bagging the items from a couple different shelves. He walked back, pressing a couple keys, "Your total comes to $9,500. Thank you and have a nice day!" the man said, processing the exchange and handing over the items.

Fyre took the items, and assorted them in his backpack. He called to Fang, and he left the airconditioned pokemon center. He looked at the sky, admiring some of the clouds. "I guess today has started off good, huh Fang?" He stared at his friend, whom was watching him intently. Fyre smiled a little, and headed for somewhere to find out about the weather.

Passing by a news stand, the door was opened to allow a breeze into the building. The TV was on, announcing the weather for the upcoming week was to be "Hot, hot, hot!" with scattered showers around the weekend. From the current temperature outside, it wasn't hard to believe. The humidity was building, and the clouds were sure to give by the weekend.

Fyre, now knowing the weather, had changed his mind about training outside. "We would be soaked by the time we even started if it rains today..." What was he gonna do? He couldn't risk letting Fang catch a cold, or himself for that matter. He was stuck, until he thought enough. "I know, maybe we can train until it begins drizzling..." he started to rush for the nearest area where no one would get in the way. He arrived to a spot shortly after, and he told Fang to prepare...

Training Begins

Fyre looked at Fang. The poochyena was ready for anything. Fyre told him exactly what they were doing. "Alright, let's start with endurance. Fang, I want you to use tackle as many times as you can until you become tired, understood?" The poochyena nodded, and started immediately. The first few times, it wasn't anything. The pokemon was able to easily execute the move one time after another. Suddenly he was becoming fatigued, though, and later on the poochyena became exhausted. Fyre looked at his truty friend, proud. He let him rest for a few minutes.

The few minutes later, Fyre had another training exercise. "Fang, I want you to train your stamina by running as fast as you can without exhausting yourself!" The poochyena merely nodded again, and began to run back and forth from one tree to his trainer. This was also a piece of cake, but eventually the poor guy became tired, and slowed down to a walk.

Fyre oncee again allowed his friend to rest, then he told him it was time for another round. "Fang, try to combine these to techniques. Use tackle as many times as you can, putting as much force behind it as you can!" The poochyena was a little hesitant, but started running and did as he was told. He soon found that he was able to put slightly more force into the move, so Fyre had him stop.
Training End

Fyre looked up at the sky. There were a few storm clouds, and he knew it was time to retire for the day. He walked with his poochyena to the pokecenter, asking the nurse "Is there anywhere we can rest until this storm blows over?". He awaited the reply.
