Click, click, click. The sound of shoes pacing back and forth across the boat's deck could be heard in the sea air, the source obviously agitated in some way. A mess of white hair, attached to a young boy, continuously kept making the sound. If there were other passengers, they'd probably try their best to ignore him and just get on with their lives, but aside from the crew, Jackson was solo. Well. Not entirely. Carried in his arms was a small, dark ball of fur, curled up and snoozing away.

After being there from Undella Town to Nuvema Town she was starting to get heavy in his arms. The sound sound of her breathing, and the warmth of her little body was rather soothing, helping keep his own nerves down. After all, he had been preparing for this for... a year? He hadn't had Kyouko very long, but he'd never even left his hometown once in his entire fourteen years of existance. And now he was supposed to travel the entire region with his pokemon, just like how kids were supposed to at his age.

Was he prepared? Yes. Knowledgeable? Yes. Was he ready? Ready or not, he was going to have to sink or swim now. His partner in crime pushed her snout into his chest, trying to snuggle deeper into him as she slept. A small tuft of her brilliant yellow fur stuck upwards, and the male had no choice but to slowly run his fingers atop of her head, trying to smooth it down. Not that it ever did. But she was still fun to stroke, and even in her sleep she made sounds of contentment against him.

"Attention, attention!" The suddenness of the announcement gave him a slight jump, the tiny pokemon tensing up and poking her head up and sleepily peering around. "We have arrived; passengers please calmly disembark and enjoy peaceful Nuvema Town. Thank you." Only his steps were heard, padding across the wooden deck and down the ramp. Kyouko was fully awake and alert now, ears pricked up and examining this new environment for herself.

Creak. The wooden docks gave slightly under his light weight with a bit of protest, but it endured and the male paid little mind to it. Wood turned to dirt, and officially he had arrived at his destination. The pokemon began to squirm and push against him, full of energy while he was slightly drained from walking so much on the boat. His arms relaxed and she plopped gracefully onto the ground, four little paws making a very light thud in the lush grass. Where was he supposed to go now? Well, he would soon find out on his own. A large building, topped with an orange arcing roof, rose in the back of town, and he began to make his way towards it. What could he possibly find there?

"Come on Kyouko." Violet hues swept downwards to search for her, which was fairly easy as she had started rolling on the floor around his legs. The male stared for a bit as she enjoyed herself, seeming to ignore the command. After this, it would be mostly work after all; no more playing in the sand and doing what they wanted. But after a minute, she stopped and peered up at him whilst laying on her back, the light blue coloured orbs in her head meeting his gaze head on.

"Zorua." She wanted to be picked up. Again. Well... She'd have to walk a lot eventually. A small sigh escaped the boy, and he bent down to scoop her into his arms, before taking off towards what he hoped was the laboratory. Here we go.
