Battle Style:
Chester rarely commands his Pokémon while in-battle. Whenever he visits a new town's Pokémon Center, he would teach his Pokémon to fight on their own so that the foe will not have an idea on how to avoid the move or put up traps because his Pokémon themselves are the only ones who know their own tactic. Newly captured Pokémon usually brings him a huge chance of losing for understandable reasons.

When it comes about confidence, he is horribly disadvantaged because of his low self-esteem and Paranoia (see Personality and History).

Most people say that he looks older and taller among other kids that are the same age as him.

Beedee is actually wearing contact lenses. He keeps his eyeglasses safely in his knapsack.

Personality:
Beedee Arcs' personality is so hard to explain and even he finds it hard. He prefers having people talk to him. If you look at him or don't know him, he looks like the usual boy. Get to know him real well, make him feel comfortable and safe and he will go explaining his complex and hard to understand personality which could almost bore you or annoy you.

To make it simple, Beedee doesn't care about anything in the world aside from his mother, Pokémon, himself and his occupation. He doesn't care what people think, he has gone numb (see history). Even though he doesn't care, he is still human, someone who can feel emotions. Because of those (see history), he developed paranoia and all the pain made him careless about anything. All he cares now is the happiness of his mother, his Pokémon and showering himself with glory.

He has socialization problems and tries to avoid talking to others as much as possible unless the person looks hospitable. He likes listening to rap rock music and whenever he gets obsessed with something, he wants to get everything about whatever that is. He wants his things organized and clean. He is a perfectionist when it comes to his occupation and that only means having no losses (never having his entire team fainting at all).

It's very hard to amuse him. He sometimes feels like he doesn't belong in this world because the usual things that people get amused to don't amuse him. Dances, art, etc. don't amuse him unless it's some good rap rock music with good lyrics or some epic turntable jams.

He dislikes all kinds of bad people, those who think they look pretty or handsome when they are not because Beedee believes that a person's actions should match appropriately to what they look, heat and all kinds of Bug Pokémon except for a Scyther.

He is so much addicted to music that he considers his only favorite band as his "friend" who stays with him through happiness and sadness. Being someone who seems to be too weak, when he reaches his limit, he will end up breaking down and unleashing anger that is hard to manage, control and "turn off". Sometimes he can be immature.

History:
Beedee was born a healthy, emotionally strong and cheery kid. All of that changed when he was in Grade 4. The pains he felt ever since turned him into what he is today; someone who is paranoid and has a low self-esteem. It began with something that anyone has been through - bullying. At first, he was able to handle it but like all children, Beedee often runs his mouth about it which ends up to his mother always going to his school scolding those children. Same thing happens day by day, bullying and his mother coming once in a month.

A few years later, his family divorced. Fast forward to the present year. He is now a weakling, no traces of his kiddy personality are left. His relatives told him that he seemed to be a different guy. A lot of people seemingly get annoyed by him, they don't like him that much, they don't welcome him into the "group" that much, and he always is left alone. He has a few friends but they only care about the laughs, he only has a single friend who cares about him but he wasn't much help to him.

He doesn't know if it is Paranoia because he has caught and heard a lot of people say everything that is against him. He has heard every single one. He has been attacked from different angles by all methods (physically, verbally, emotionally, spiritually, etc.) As a guy who takes lyrics of his favorite band as "help", he chose to follow one song which gave him the solution to his problems - "run away, remember all the sadness and frustration and then let it go".

He chose to be a trainer and trained his pet to be a fighter. He left his mom which was the most painful he has ever done and didn't tell anyone else but his mom only because he doesn't care about anything at all aside from his mom, himself, his Pokémon and his occupation.

In his journey, he hopes that he will forget about everything and finally find a place in this world and be happy.
