i'm not sure. I haven't seen anyone doing any, but if we do, i have a system which i've found to work quite well on PX, before it was deleted.

| First, It is like Anime contests, with an appeal round then Battle round
I have yet to think of an effective way to do Appeal Rounds Fairly, but for now they can be judged on how well the User describes thier Moves and what they're doing.
Fr the Battle round, each attack gets it's Gen 3 Appeal and Jam hearts. For every Move performed in the battle round, the User's Points increase by the number of hearts in the Appeal, and the opponents decreases by the number of Jam hearts. If the user repeats a move in succession, it loses 2 Points. |

Ah so :D there is on bulbapedia how much every attack gives hearts. So when pokemon attacks he gest hearts, how much he needs to collect to win? or its something else?

well, there may be a time limit, like in the anime (Post limit here, eg: 2 Pages?) and whoever has the Most points by then wins. We could also do a certain number of Points to win, but it would have to be at least 25 or it would be too quick

Hmm i like the limit of 2 pages, thats the best. And thats one part pf contest there is two, right?

that was the battle bit, as he said he hasn't got an appeal part properly sorted, but you can have an admin give each contestant a score out of 10, and the top 4 go through?

Yeah, an admin that's not competing. Although, now that I say it, it seems unnecessary to have been said. And, wow, that sentence really didn't work.

well aren't contests way shorter than tournaments, tournaments usually last a month and never get finished, while a contest usually lasts a week at most

Let it be known there will also be a tournament. You can compete in both, because the Contest will be first.
