Personality: Raymond tends to seem harsh. He expects a lot from his Pokemon. He is only interested in powerful pokemon. He hates to lose and always tries to go for a rematch. He can't abandon anyone in trouble. He has a boundless trust in his pokemon though it is hard to see. Whenever Raymond catches his pokemon he always looks for their weakness so he can build on it. He hates people who rely on others for power and those who look for power using cheap ways. Raymond is fond of people and pokemon who have a will to become strong by hard work and perseverance. Raymond is constantly looking for ways to make himself and his pokemon stronger.
History:Raymond was born in Viridian city. Raymond has 3 older brothers who all went on their own journeys. At the age of 3 one of his brother named Derek gave him a pokemon egg. After toting it around for 3 months it hatched into a Bagon. Raymond was elastic to know that he now had a pokemon of his own. Then one day Raymond went with his family to go see his brother challenge the champion. On the way Raymond got separated from his family and got lost one of the caves. In there he was attacked by a wild Onix. Since Raymond had no pokeballs and no pokemon he was knocked around a few times by the onix. Then Bagon came in and used Dragon rage. To no avail the Onix was barely even scratched but he was mad.
Onix then began to throw around Bagon around until he fainted. After Bagon fainted Onix began to calm down. So while onix was calming down Raymond grabbed Bagon and ran to the closest pokemon center. Feeling helpless Raymond promised himself that he and Bagon would get stronger so that something like this would never happen again. So when he turned 16 Raymond decided that it was about time for him to go on his journey.
