Aqua looked at Manaphy, a little sad that she still hadn't really found a good friend for her. Aqua herself would love to have more around her so that she could get in more training. Still, she would never be unsatisfied with Manaphy. While Kimiko was off on her little 'aura training' mission, Aqua would head and any kind of beach like area she could find. After some struggling she came upon a little inlet to the sea and was almost overly thrilled. She quickly stripped to her swimsuit and allowed Manaphy to take her out to the deeper parts of the ocean waters. Maybe with some luck she could find something.

A few small pokemon swam past her and expressed interest in the pair before swimming away. A large pokemon could be seen in the distance, hazy though from the brackish (salty) water. It swam gracefully through the water and seemed to be taunting the pair. It would swim closer and farther away, like it was trying to study them. Suddenly it broke the surface of the water and performed a mid-air flip. A distant cry came from the water beast and it swam a little closer on top of the water. A brilliantly purple lapras came closer and showed off just how pretty she was. She was still wary of the pair, but was glad to see someone swimming in her pod's waters, they were great to swim in.

OOC: I know what brackish means =P lol ok maybe not XD

Aqua spotted the smaller pokemon, most looking like simple fish, and seemed slightly disinterested. Though a larger being caught her attention. She urged Manaphy forward more until she finally just started to propel the water back with her feet. She was almost thankful when the creature did come closer. When it did she gasped at the beautiful pokemon before her. It was a stunning purple Lapras. She drew in the water around her a bit and shot herself up in a jet stream and tried to maintain the current so that she was level with the lapras' eyes. "That was quite the trick. Trying to prove you're more than just a pretty sight? Well, you're doing a good job, very impressive." Aqua reached a hand out tentatively wanting to rub the large pokemon's snout.

To say the least, the lapras was impressed that the trainer could control water, it gave the large pokemon one more reason to like the girl before her. She allowed the trainer to pat her slippery snout. She snorted and motioned to the manaphy and back to the trainer with a question in her eyes. 'Is it yours?' Was the question and she waited patiently for the answer.

Manaphy shot out of the water as soon as Aqua finished petting the Lapras and landed on top of her head, looking down. Aqua laughed a bit at that as the lapras gave them both a look. "Find it a little odd that I have Manaphy? Well, she's been mine since she was an egg. I love Manaphy very much and would never harm her." Aqua smiled as Manaphy jumped into her arms and cuddled her. "Love you!" Aqua chuckled and looked back at the Lapras hoping the Lapras was convinced she was a good trainer. "I love all pokemon. But I'm rather found of water types. I wish I had more honestly. Manaphy doesn't really have anyone to play with."

Lapras tilted her head as she listened to Aqua speak. As soon as the word play was uttered, Lapras got an idea. It swooped down and got a mouthful of water. Purple cheeks puffed, she shot a playful jet of water at manaphy and Aqua. Her eyes were sparkling with a happy playfulness. She would wait for their reaction and then dive into the water before coming out so that Aqua and manaphy would be on her back.

Aqua didn't expect the full on spray of water to the face, but it wasn't like she minded. She simply let out a good laugh and with one free hand had her own little spray of water shoot at the lapras from the side. "Two can play at that game you know." Aqua smiled a bit at that, but frowned when she noticed that the Lapras had dove underwater. Had she scared her off? Another surprise happened when she found her little stream of water broke, yet she remained fairly dry as she found herself on Lapras' back. Aqua let out another laugh and patted her shell."You are one spirited pokemon. I like it, you know how to have fun."

Lapras snorted in happiness and seemed to laugh at her own antics. She turned her head and flashed Aqua a meaningul look, while slowly opening her eyes. "Beauty, brains, and brawn." she seemed to say with a toss of her head. She then acted like she was going to dive and then took a big breath, making her pretty purple cheeks puff. Aqua had better understand what she was saying or this next move would be interesting. She slowly sank into the water and dove shallowly into the water. She wanted to show Aqua her world. She swam quickly out farther and then came up before diving down deep. A pod of lapras could be seen playing around in the water, though all of them were normal colored. Back up to the surface they went, and Lapras flapped her forefins happily. A shining eyed happy face turned to Aqua as she exclaimed in joy.

Aqua smiled at Lapras, almost too excited to keep herself still. She took a deep breath, one that was pretty normal for her and held on tightly as they dove. The water was so clear at this time of day it was always so enchanting to look through. Aqua loved seeing this side of the sea. The surface always hid such wonderful treasure of the fathoms below. When they came back up, Aqua took another deep breath and hoped this would last longer. It seemed to work for a while as she spotted the pod of lapras'. They were all so pretty, but nothing compared to this one. When they came back up, Aqua gladly took in large gulps of and and smiled as she flicked her hair of the water before reaching out to hug Lapras' long neck. "Thank you for that, it was absolutely marvelous! I really want to keep you with me, but I don't want to take you from your pod if you don't want to leave." Aqua looked at the Lapras hopefully while holding Manaphy to her.

Lapras' face contorted slightly. She just wanted to show how pretty it was, she could care less about the pod. They teased her for her coloring and would prefer she left. She started heading back to shore and, while swimming, turned it's head around to nuzzle the two with her head. She liked these two, and wanted to be with them. Would they understand? Once they were at the beach, she crawled out part way and smelled something. Looking behind her she saw a few of the mean males. They were glaring at the two and the purple lapras. One of them shot a jet of water at her and she retaliated with a growl and moved to protect the human and Manaphy. The males seemed to chortle and left her with the human. She wouldn't be able to go back now.

Aqua hopped off lapras as they reached the shore but not long after she found herself practically treading on the water when she saw the two males attack the purple lapras with sprays of water. Aqua hardly ever got mad but this was passed rational. She didn't believe it was fair for them to get away with that so with all her power she summoned a vicious storm over the two and watched as the intense winds that came with it would drive wave after wave into the two. Maybe they would think next time. "Take that you jerks. Don't pick on someone for being different! There's nothing wrong with it!" Manaphy hugged Aqua's leg, snapping Aqua out of her anger. She picked Manaphy up and headed over to lapras, touching her side. "You're beautiful, so don't let any of those bullies tell you differently. You're special. Come with us. I think you'd be happier. We don't judge and we see your potential. I would never treat you like that." Aqua pulled out a pokeball and showed it to Lapras, almost pleading with her to come with them.

The males certainly got the message and dashed off back to the pod. The offer of coming with them was what she had been hoping for. It immediately poked it's nose to the pokeball and was sucked in. The ball shook momentarily in Aqua's hand before becoming completely still.

Shiny Lapras lvl 22 joined your team! Would you like to give it a nickname?

Aqua grinned at the pokeball in her hand. She was so happy that she had a new friend and a fun one at that. She knew she would hold the lapras very close to her heart like Manaphy. "After all that's happened I feel like you should have a name. One that reflects how special you really are. So for that, I'm going to call you Fleur. It's a pretty name." Aqua then called her back out and let Manaphy play in the water with her as Aqua put her clothes back on over her swimsuit and looked to see what else was inhabiting the beach.

On the beach was a buizel who seemed to be arguing with a floatzel, possibly it's parent. The floatzel eventually waved the conversation off and scurried back into the water. A grumbling male buizel kicked around sand and glared at the water. He was old enough to be on his own, but mom didn't think so. His eyes kept looking down at the beach and he walked right into Aqua.
"Buizel Bui?" it said from his position on the ground. The shock of running into a human snapped him out of his fit of annoyance and he smiled at the elementist.

Aqua giggled at the weasel pokemon that ran into her. She had seen him coming, but didn't expect he wouldn't see her. She smiled back at him and stroked the fur on his head."You should watch where you're going. You might run into something dangerous if you don't pay attention." Aqua turned to her pack then and dug around a bit until she found a small beach ball like toy. She then turned back and showed the buizel. "Do you like games?"

Buizel chuckled as his head was petted. He'd actually run into an angry Slowbro once and his dad had to help him out of the sticky situation. When the ball came out, he tilted his head and looked curious. He liked playing, but he wasn't sure what the ball was for. He reached up for it, wanting to know what it was. He even jumped a few times to try and reach it, each time with a happy, "Bui!"

Aqua dropped it and sat down on the beach. If he wanted it then he could play with it if he wanted to. Aqua on the other hand started to build a sand sculpture. It wasn't exactly like she good at it but it wouldn't look hald bad when she was done. When it was done it would look like an exact copy of the buizel in front of her. She then went on to make a sand manaphy. "Not bad huh?"

The buizel happily caught the ball and played around with it. He kept playing until he saw Aqua sculpting something out of the sand. He watched in wonder as first himself and then the playing Manaphy was carved. He walked over and pulled on her sleeve. He pointed at the playing lapras and manaphy and then to her. He knew the answer, so he just continued and pointed between himself and her.

Aqua felt a slight tug at her sleeve and turned to see what the problem was. Her brow furrowed slightly when she looked back and forth between her pokemon, herself, and then the buizel. "Do you want to be my friend like they are? I'm ok with that." Aqua smiled as she finished up Manaphy and brushed herself off, an empty pokeball rolling from her belt as she did so.

The buizel nodded and started clapping his hands excitedly. When the trainer stood, he saw one of thosered and white things start rolling towards him. He picked it up and stared at the button. Curiously, it examined all sides of the ball and he looked at the three visitors to his beach. He took one last look at where his mom had disappeared and made up his mind. He literally smacked the button and was sucked in. Three shakes later, he was caught.

(congratulations, buizel joined your team. Would you like to give it a name?)

Aqua turned to say somethign further to the Buizel when she noticed he was gone and a pokeball lay in his place. Aqua reached down and picked it up carefully. Had he actually let himself be caught? Well, she supposed if he wanted to come with her then she could always welcome more friends. Aqua thought of a name quickly, the only thing coming to mind was Fred. "Alright, well it looks like Fred will be your name." Aqua placed the pokeball back on her belt and called towards the other two. Fleur was returned to her pokeball and Manaphy lept back into her arms. The two then headed back towards the Temple, but along the way they got lost in a rather forested area. Some shifting in the bushes was the first thing that caught her attention.

From the woods an Eevee poked her head. She skipped up to the trainer and meweled happily. The manaphy in the girl's arms fascinated the Eevee. She hadn't seen that kind of water pokemon before. A furry brown cheek was rubbed against the trainer's leg. This little one liked the smell that the girl carried. She smelled like a nice person.

Aqua couldn't help let out a small 'aw' as the eevee emerged from the bushes. When it rubbed against her leg she kneeled down to pet her but as a result, the water stone from her bag slipped out and was sent flying right towards Eevee. Aqua reached out hopelessly to try and grab it, but missed completely. "Oh, no no no no, I did not mean for that to happen. Well, maybe nothing will happen. Right?" Aqua knew she was failing epically in her hope of being optimistic. If something didn't happen because of this it would be a miracle for sure.

Eevee noticed how flustered the trainer was about the blue stone falling to the ground. She didn't know any better, so she walked over to it and picked it up. On the way back to Aqua, she felt kind of funny. She felt herself somehow changing. A bright flash of white and a second later the eevee was a vaporeon. "Vaporeon?" she questioned the trainer. Now there was a different thing she could sense. The girl felt like water. She looked down and saw her brown paws were blue. She shreiked slightly and hid behind Aqua's leg, thinking some psychic pokemon was messing with it's mind. "Vaporeon?" she asked slightly sadly.

Aqua made a sort of 'oh no' face as the light flashed and for a few moments blocked her vision. When she found she could see she looked down to see a rather gobsmacked Vaporeon in front of her. When the Vaporeon started to freak out, Aqua knew she had some damage control she needed to do. Aqua kneeled down to the Vaporeon's level and cupped her face with both of her hands. "Hey, you're alright. I didn't mean for that to happen, but it's not so bad is it? You're a water type now, that means you'll be able to do lots of fun things." Aqua tried to reassure the other pokemon that the situation really wasn't all that bad. Manaphy even hopped onto her back and gave her a hug around her neck. "Mana!"
