Flip The Coin! [SHADOW ONLY]

Anton was shocked by the Treecko's reflex's and his immediate energy ball back at Tyrouge. It was a direct hit at Tyrouge causing him to fall back in a heap. Anton becam concerned and thought that this would be it for Tyrouge. However, Tyrouge struggled through the pain and made it to his feet. Barely. He looked ready to fight but Anton knew it was pointless.

'Forget it, return Tyrouge.' Max said coldly. 'No battles worth injuring my pokemon over. I'll find my own way' Anton carried Tyrouges pokeball in his hands and turned back the way he came, not looking back. He was ashamed, not just because he lost, but because he lost to such an arrogant trainer.

(Treecko gained 10 exp from winning)

"You sure about tha-" he paused seeing the Trainer won't be swayed so he just let it go. "Oh well, a while ago it gave us heads and it looks like its true." said Lucky returning the Treecko as he kept walking around whether another Trainer or a wild Pokemon.

Not far from where the battle had taken place a small grey and black Pokemon, crouched low in the grass, watched the two Trainers as they settled their dispute. The wild Pokemon dare not go any closer, lest he wish to face the wrath of both Trainers and their own Pokemon at the same time, but now that they seemed to be leaving each other, it would be the perfect time to strike.

The puppy Pokemon, known as a Poochyena, waited quietly until Lucky had walked close enough to be confronted. Poochyena leaped from the grass and stood in front of the Trainer, blocking his way and refusing to move without a challenge!

Wild Poochyena appeared! (Male, level 6)

Lucky smiled at the little Poochyena trying to block his way. He smiled even more seeing the Poochyena's determination in its eyes. The eyes are trying to say something, you can read it in the face and the eye of the Puppy Pokemon. He wants a battle. "You're specie are cute but too bad you're challenging me. Come on, fella." he said. Treecko again lazily walked in front of Lucky and stared at the Poochyena in a lazy way. He plucks a stem out of a flower and starts chewing at it. "What you doing?" The Treecko didn't answer. It got in a battle stance still chewing on the stem. "That stem might get in the way. What you doing?" The Treecko looked back at Lucky with an annoyed face as he spitted the stem away and went back to his stance. "That's better. No acting Mr. Epic Pokemon when in a battle. Let's see... Absorb." he said. Good move since Treecko just got himself in a battle just earlier. Treecko's body glow as he try to connect his energy to the Poochyena and drain its energy.

The Poochyena didn't know what to think when he saw the Treecko step into fighting range. It didn't quite look like it was wanting to battle... Poochyena couldn't quite figure out what to do.

It's mind was made up for him, though, when he felt his own energy draining while Treecko began glowing, sucking out the puppy Pokemon's strength.

Poochyena did not take kindly to this little attack. He growled lowly, fixating his eyes upon the grass type Pokemon before charging forward to attack! Pookchyena used Tackle!

Treecko recovering the tiny energy he lost, though not all of it, is now in a fair battle. He might look lazy and idiotic but in one swift jump, he evades the attack and lands behind the Poochyena. "Good, Energy Ball!" said Lucky. Treecko opens his mouth as a small orb started to form. It has the power of Grass Type which he fired towards the Poochyena. A stronger Grass Type attack such as Energy Ball will do a good amount of damage to a Poochyena of his level.

The Poochyena was not at all pleased that it's energy had been stolen like that, and it was even more frustrated when Treecko swiftly dodged the oncoming attack. Even so, the puppy Pokemon was just getting worked up.

Poochyena rolled over, narrowly dodging the Energy Ball that had been hurled toward him. He then turned to face the Grass type, glaring as though his looks could kill.

Taking a deep breath, the Dark type threw its head back and let out a loud howl as if to declare its coming victory! Poochyena used Howl!

Treecko didn't seem worried and just stood there and stared as if nothing happened. As if Poochyena didn't just raise his own Attack stat. Lucky wasn't that worried but he still has to be more careful. "Quick Attack." said Lucky. Poochyena might easily dodge any move Treecko could use so a quick attack like... well... Quick Attack might increase the chance to hit and could follow another attack afterwards then.

Treecko quickly sprinted towards the Poochyena in a ramming stance with its shoulder.

Poochyena was still a bit caught up in his howl of doom when Treecko attacked once again. It caught the puppy Pokemon off guard and pushed him back a few feet.

That one hurt quite a bit, despite how much the Poochyena wished not to believe it. Rising back to his feet, the Dark type growled deeply and rammed forward for another Tackle! Hopefully he'd hit something this time, because he was wearing down rather fast.

Treecko isn't that fast at getting out of one place after just getting there. He jumps back but gets hit and tumbles back. He stands up with a grin, looks like he's feeling it. Too bad it's gonna be over soon. The Treecko got on the same fighting stance which he likes to call the "Treecko Martial Arts" or TMA. "Okay, Treecko. Energy Ball on his ground but don't hit him." said Lucky. He knows his Pokemon is okay. Treecko knew Lucky is planning something knowing any attack can be easily avoided. Treecko once again fires another Energy Ball on the ground near to Poochyena enough for the dust to hit his eye.

Poochyena was very pleased to have hit Treecko with a powered-up Tackle, but it was obvious that the little Dark type was tired now. It was ready to dodge the next attack, but when it clearly saw that Treecko's aim was off, the cocky puppy stood its ground and let out a mocking bark.

However, the explosion caused so much dust to fly into the air, it was as if Treecko had done a Sand Attack. Poochyena growled angrily, trying to scratch the dirt out of it's eyes. It new it wouldn't be able to hit the opponent in this state, so it did the only thing it could do, throwing back its head and howling loudly. Poochyena used Howl!

"Finish it, Treecko." said Lucky. Treecko comes with another Energy Ball!

The dirt in Poochyena's eyes also made it difficult to dodge the oncoming attack. It could see the Energy Ball hurtling towards it, but it hadn't any time to make a move. It was too late.

The attack hit the Dark type head-on, knocking it back a few feet where it lay still. It let out a weak cry, then fell unconscious.

Wild Poochyena has fainted! Treecko gained 6 exp!

Treecko grew to level 13!

Treecko can feel more energy coming from within which made him feel strong after that attack. Looks like he leveled up. Lucky can also see his Treecko's face start to look weird as if he did level up. "Nice, Treecko. Not much of a challenge around here, eh? Let's see... Up for one last fight before healing and proceeding onwards?" asked Lucky. Treecko smirked knowing he can handle maybe two more fights but he better not get embarrassed. Lucky takes out a coin again and says, "Will you win this one last fight and will something interesting happen?" He throws the coin up in the air and tries to catch it only to miss and find the coin on the ground landing in a very unusual way. The coin landed as it spun around and landing with tails up. "Tails but it spun first. I'll take that as Lady Luck wants it as a secret. Well... that's interesting. Ironic." he said picking the coin up again as Treecko picked up the same stem he spitted out before and went to chew it again. The two then again walks around.

As Lucky continued walking he'd soon come across another Pokemon anxious for a battle. The tall grass rustled a little, then quite a bit as the wild Pokemon hiding within became anxious.

The brown-furred creature leaped into view, darting this way and that before its eyes settled upon the Trainer standing nearby. Anyone who knew a thing or two about Hoenn could easily identify the Pokemon as a Zigzagoon. It let out a threatening growl as it prepared to defend its territory.

Wild Zigzagoon appeared! (Male, level 5.)

"Oh God, oh my God, oh crap no I am surprised." he said in a very sarcastic tone. Treecko grinned as he used to just see this annoying little Pokemon around and they've been bad for Treecko's eyes for some reason he keeps to himself. "Oh well, Treecko. As usual, Absorb." he said. Treecko then again walked lazily in front of lucky, still chewing on the twig as he glowed and tried to suck someone's energy again.

Zigzagoon was well-prepared to battle, and when Treecko moved forward to attack, the wild Pokemon began darting about in different directions, moving in a zig-zag fashion. It seemed to do well with evasiveness, but it really wanted to do some damage to Treecko.

The Pokemon let out a type of bark and then charged forward, though it couldn't seem to move in a straight line. It zigged-zagged in Treecko's direction attempting to Tackle him!

A zigzag move is very easy to dodge. A foe turns left, you go right which Treecko did on his own. He waited until Zigzagoon is about to turn right and then he jumps left and evades the Tackle! "Energy Ball!" Lucky said. Treecko jumped back again and fired another Energy Ball!

Treecko was able to predict Zigzagoon's movements well, and it was hit with the Energy Ball. It stumbled back, rolling head-over-heels before slowly standing back to its feet. That attack dealt a hefty amount of damage, considering the level difference between the two.

The Zigzagoon did its best to shake off the hit, then dashed forward again, still moving in its zigzag motion. Zigzagoon used Tackle!

Treecko tried to dodge again since he knows how predictable this one is but he still got hit. Zigzagoon did it by speed. Treecko jumped back before he could even tumble or fall on his back. "Absorb." Lucky said worrying that his Treecko might faint then so Treecko did.

Zigzagoon seemed very happy that its attack had hit. It began darting left and right once more, continuing its strange movements. It slowly came to a stop, however, as it realized the danger it was still in.

That last hit from Treecko was hard enough, but now the Grass type was using yet another powerful move. The Zigzagoon could feel its energy draining away, bit by bit. It struggled to fight back, as though it could stop the attack somehow, but before long it was too tired to keep battling. Zigzagoon cried out as it slumped over, unable to fight any longer.

Wild Zigzagoon fainted! Treecko gained 5 exp!

Lucky smiles for yet another victory. "Nice. That wasn't much eh?" he said, his Treecko answered back with a smirk. "Hm, tough guy? Okay." he said as they once again wander around. This time, it really is the last.

Lucky's cockiness seemed to be somewhat infectious, as though he were drawing out any challengers in the nearby area. Other Pokemon, however, were quite frightened by it and would rather have the Trainer leave this place altogether.

One in particular, a small, red caterpillar-type Pokemon, hesitantly approached Lucky and Treecko. It stood up as tall as it could, trying to appear threatening in hopes of scaring off the confident Trainer.

Wild Wurmple appeared! (Female, level 7)

"Bug versus Grass..." Juan thought. Treecko walked up in front of the Wurmple with complete determination and used Energy Ball face-to-face! "Hey, I didn't command you!" said Lucky.

The Wurmple wasn't sure what made Treecko so cocky that he'd march right up to his opponent, but the little Bug type was not expecting an attack at such a close range. The Wurmple flew back, taking a moment to regain its composure before it faced Treecko once more.

The attack did a decent amount of damage, but the type was at a disadvantage, so it wasn't too bad. Wurmple then glared at Treecko and spat out a thick, sticky string! Wurmple used String Shot!
