Battle Style: Calm, cool, collected. Kimiko always weighs how the situation feels and how things are going before she makes a decision. She is good at making quick decisions, though she won't jump into an unnecessary battle. Nor will she continue to fight a loosing one, she care's much more for the happiness of her pokemon than winning.
Looks:
Personality: Being raised in a shinto temple, Kimiko is a reverent girl. Being an aorist doesn't help much either, as she can speak through a mild form of telepathy. The only time she is loud is when she is excited.
She's always felt a little out of place around people, but she's ready and willing to make new friends, out of people or pokemon!
History: When Kimiko was six years old, she started developing her aura abilities and could tell when people around her meant her harm. She would sometimes hide for days when she was in trouble or was picked on at school. Her mother tried to comfort her, but being a normal human, she had no idea how to help her daughter. That same year, her mother took her to the closest Shinto shrine, and asked the priest if he could help her daughter. He gladly took her in, and began teaching her the ways of the Aura.
At first she was very shy, and would always stay away from visitors, but after a little while, she got used to the whole people coming to visit thing and started to greet them. Her guardian was so impressed that he also taught her how to be a shrine maiden, so that she might be able to feel comfort where ever she went. While she never truly became a shrine maiden, she enjoyed her duties and fulfilled them to her best capabilities.
One day, as she was practicing making weapons and shields from Aura, she caught a little Purrloin trying to sneak in for a free meal. She befriended the little creature and it stuck to her ever since. She discovered that she could talk to the little creature in her mind and her happiness grew. When the priest saw that she had befriended a pokemon, he decided to give her a present.
The priest handed her a pokeball, and when she let the pokemon out, it was a Riolu. She hugged the priest and then her new pokemon happily, talking to the young fighter in her own special way.
A few years later, at the age of sixteen, Kimiko decided that she had learned all she could while at the shrine. (She could even do the teleport thing, though it wiped her out if she used it more than twice.) She packed her bags and headed out of the shrine, thanking the priest for all he had done for her, and walked in the direction of Sunyshore.
