Battle Style: Uses her knowledge of Pokemon to try and take out her opponents as quickly as possible. That being said, she likes her Pokemon fast, and loves the feeling of being able to strike first. She prefers to use offensive moves to deal damage, but if the situation calls for a more careful strategy, she will do her best to come up with a plan to ensure victory. It's rare for her to use defensive moves of any kind unless she's worried for her Pokemon, and it's even more uncommon to see her run from a battle.

Looks: About 5'1" in height, Brianne is an average sized teen with a slender, non-threatening build. Thin as she may be, she's far from weak, and carries herself with pride. She has long auburn hair, which she usually keeps tied back in a messy ponytail. Her attire is normally made up of simple, durable fabrics with natural-looking colors, such as khaki and white. She always keeps her brown satchel slung over one shoulder, and it's not uncommon to see her hands and knees coated with dirt.

Personality: Strong-willed and somewhat insensitive, Brianne is a girl with big dreams and several plans to make her mark in the world. She enjoys the company of others, except when she has her sights set on something she wants, then she prefers people stay out of her way. Though a bit foolish and silly at times, her knowledge of Pokemon history is unrivaled among other Trainers her age. She loves learning about history and mythology, and she dreams of becoming a famed archeologist one day, as well as getting the chance to meet a legendary Pokemon, (particularly Celebi.) That being said, she never leaves home without a few digging tools, a field guide, and a handheld metal detector.

History: Though born in a big city, Brianne's heart is set on the rural caverns and ruins of the Pokemon world, though it hadn't always been that way.

When she was a young child, her father left his wife and child for reasons Brianne would never understand. Fearing that her child would grow up without a proper fatherly figure in her life, Brianne's mother sent her away every Summer to live with her grandfather in Ecruteak City in the Johto region. Bree's grandpa was a well-known archeologist, and during her time spent with him she came to discover her own passion for unearthing ancient secrets of the world's past. From that point on, her grandfather had promised that he would someday take her along on one of his expeditions.

Sadly, he would be unable to keep that promise. During an archeological dig, a rockslide pinned him down and crushed one of his legs. If it wasn't for his Pokemon accompanying him, he might have died, but thankfully his Lucario was able to heft the large rocks off of its master. However, his injuries forced him to retire and his old age left him with little else to do in the study of archeology. Brianne then determined to follow in her grandfather's footsteps and pick up where he left off in his studies.

To aid her in her journey, her grandfather gave her an egg to hatch and raise as her partner Pokemon. She kept the egg close for many days until it finally hatched, revealing a Riolu who she now keeps with her at all times.

With Riolu by her side, Brianne set out to learn as much as she could about the past of both humans and Pokemon while traveling the region to challenge gym leaders and gain some recognition. She often writes letters to her grandfather, telling him of her adventures in hopes of keeping him young.

Personality: An eager little spitfire, this Riolu hates to back down from a challenge even when the odds are stacked against him. He will do all he can to protect his Trainer, no matter what the circumstance. He's always seen wearing a red bandana that Brianne gave to him.

Personality: Stantler is rather mild most of the time, generally content chewing on some wild moss. However, when challenged to a battle he's a wild Pokemon on a rampage. He doesn't know when to quit, and thinks himself above others.
