A pokemon journey - episode 1 - the journey begins (open)

Today was a particular day. It was the day to finally leave home and discover the world with all it's wonder. Alaton was not alone. A true friend Rica sat on his shoulder excited what they will find too. Eon however was a bit shy and hided behind alato's legs when they left the city.
"It is time to go on a long journey"
Alaton said loudly and Ralts made some noises in approval. As they walked through the beautiful landscaped Eon soon got bored and started to run around and hiding in bushes. She obviously wanted Alaton to play with her.

In a nearby tree, a curious Taillow sat, watching Eon with longing. It seemed like the bird wanted to play her, but was being cautious and weary of the trainer nearby. She chirped once, as if asking Eon permission to join in.

Taillow, Female, level 5

As Eon saw the Taillow she took cover behind Alaton watching the wild Pokemon. Alaton chuckled and took out his Pokedex to scan the Taillow.
"Taillow. It has a gutsy spirit that makes it bravely take on tough foes. It flies in search of warm climates." the mechanical voice spoke.
Eon left her hiding spot behind Alton as she heard the Pokedex entry. She tried to climb up the tree and catch the Taillow.
"Do you want to play with the Taillow?" Alaton asked her.
She nodded and still tries to catch the Taillow. Alaton turned his head to see that Rica didn't want to join the game.

"Low!" Taillow called, spreading her wings and taking flight. She began to make figure eights and rolls just out of the reach of Eon, while chirping happily. She landed on the ground a few feet away from her playmate, and ruffled her wings as if to say 'Catch me if you can!' before taking into the air once more.

Eon took it as a challenge as the Taillow ruffled it's wings and jumped trying to catch it. Alaton didn't want to stand there all the time and sat down at a tree.
"You are sure you don't want to join" he asked Rica.
She looked at the playing Eevee and finally jumped off his shoulder and on Eons back. she then had the idea and wanted to fly. Rica waited that Eon got very near the Taillow and then she tried to jump on it's back.

"Taillow!" Taillow called in surprise as Rica managed to grab hold of her back. She flapped her wings with all her might, and managed to stay afloat for several seconds before the Pokemons' combined weights were too much, and she came crashing to the ground. Rolling back onto her feet, Taillow's chest started heaving from chirping laughter.

The Taillow managed it a few seconds to fly with Rica on her back before they two sank to the ground and she fell off it. Eon ran to Rica and the Taillow licking their faces clean. Alaton had to laugh at that sight.
"Rica I think you are a little to heavy.
Rica who already stood up looked at him and gave him a huffy look. Then Eon started to chase her and Rica was not able to escape her paws.

Taillow chirped happily, spread her wings, and landed on Alaton's head. She started preening her wing feathers, and rubbed her head affectionately against Alaton's.

Taillow wants to join Alaton on his journey!

Alaton giggles and petted the Taillow while Rica climbed on his shoulder. Eon came back and jumped on Alaton's lap.
"You want to join us right?"
He took out a pokeball to catch the wild Taillow. As it disappeared in the red light the ball didn't wiggle one time before it clicked and the wild Taillow was caught. He opened the Pokeball to let it out. The new Pokemon flew in front of him and then landed on his other shoulder.
"We need to find you a name." he said and Rica nodded in approval.
He thought a while before he had decided.
"What do you think of Aine? he asked the new team member and the Taillow chirped in approve and please.

A few wild Pokemon looked at Alaton and cowered and ran away, none wanting to get as close as Aine had. A Zigzagoon was peering at him cautiously from under a bush. He wouldn't attack unless Alaton did, and could be ignored.

Zigzagoon, Level 3, Male

While The now 4 walked on they suddenly spotted a Zigzagoon under a bush. It seems watching them but didn't attack. Alaton took out his Pokedex to scan this Pokemon too.
"It walks in zigzag fashion. It is good at finding items in the grass and even in the ground." the metalic voice explaienen. Aien wanted to start chasing the wild Pokemon but Alaton held her back.
"No we should't attack every wild Pokemon we see. We will train enough believe me." Aien chirped a bit angry and Rica giggled.

Zigzagoon looked up at Alaton and perked his ears. He sniffed the air, and quickly receded into the bush and away from the trainer. Nearby, a small splash could be heard, as well as a rustle in another nearby bush. Both sounds promised an encounter of a Pokemon.

"Wow there are a lot of Pokemons around. I didn't know that we would notice them so easily." Alaton kneeled down trying to see what was under the bush. Rica jumped from his shoulder to have a better look. It had to be something big or something that made a lot of loud noises. The bush wiggles another time and Alaton got more exited. What would it be? would it come out?

As Alaton examined the bush, it rustled once more before a Plusle appeared, a strange sight for that area. His cheeks sparked, and he looked as if he wanted a fight.

Plusle, Male, Level 5

Suddenly a Plusle appeared out of the bush with sparkling cheeks. Alaton somehow new that this could end in a fight. Maybe he could feel it through it's Aura. He took out his Pokedex to get more information about that Pokemon.
It cheers on friends with pom-poms made of sparks. It drains power from telephone poles.
An Electric Pokemon, that means Taillow won't have any chance.
"Rica be prepared. Use Confuse Ray. Eon try to stay out a combat and help Rica with Helping Hand."
Alaton ordered. Rica jumped off his shoulder to Attack the Plusle while Eon used Helping Hand to assist Rica.

The Confuse Ray shot out at Plusle, and hit him straight in the forehead. He seemed dazed for a moment, then looked around with wide eyes, now confused. His cheeks sparked, and he dashed at...what he thought was Rica, but was truly a tree. He slammed himself into it, then cried out in surprise. Plusle had hurt himself in his confusion!

Alaton watched the Plusle as it tried to hit Rica but went the wron direction and crashed ito a tree. "That's our chance Eon use Tackle Rica back up with Confusion" alaton commanded. He wanted to end this battle hoping that eon won't get hurt.

The Tackle easily hit the dazed and confused Plusle, who exclaimed in surprise, not even seeing Eon coming. The Confusion hit as well, leaving the little Pokemon almost out for the count. She was too confused and weak to attack, so it was Alaton's chance to either finish him off or attempt a catch.

Alaton watched Plusle as it was hit two times by the attacks. It didn't fight back because it wasn't able to do so anymore. Alaton took out a Pokeball. He didn't want to attack the weakend and hurt Plusle another time so he threw a Pokeball at the Pokemon. Eon and Rica followed Alaton#'s move with a glint in their eyes.

The ball hit Plusle and sucked him in with a flash of red light. The ball shook once, twice, then a third and final time before clicking, signifying a catch.

Plusle was caught! Would you like to give him a nickname?

Alaton watched the pokeball's shaking and hoped that it won't break free. The Plusle was hurt and Alaton didn't want to continue fighting. He also didn't have an endless amount of pokeballs. He sighted in relief as the ball klicked and the Plusle was caught. "I will call you Storm" He announced holding the Pokeball into the air. But now he had to look for a Pokecenter because Storm was hurt. Eon was pround of being able to attack the Plusle and Rica jumped on Alatons shoulder. So they set out for the next city.

Nothing met Alaton's path and nothing was stopping him. He could easily reach the next town without any trouble.
