Effects of Ability

Not really sure whether this should be in the Questions section or Suggestions but I think this fits here. I just noticed something: The mods seem to forget the effects of abilities of Pokemons.

I had numerous characters and never did I see an ability work such as Blaze, which increases the power of Fire Type moves a bit. I remember having a Charmander before, it got weak and I don't see the ability work.

Another thing, abilities such as Static, which paralyzes a foe upon contact with the Pokemon who has the ability never gets paralyzes. Some mods does not seem to forgot though but according to the latest topics I've read and old topics I've reviewed before, I RARELY and I mean, "RARELY" see the effects of abilities. I think this should not be ignored. :/

The person who is controlling the Pokémon with the ability should remind the other person of the Pokémon's ability. Otherwise, everyone would have to constantly check to see the opponent's ability (which is very annoying). Something should be mentioned in battle, for instance:
Charmander was growing weak from the battle. However, his tail blazed brightly with his ability kicking in to power up his ember attack!
Or something along the lines.

Your post was more or less implying that it's the moderators job to tell you that your charmander is weak and Blaze kicked in...
