So It Begins

Vance Lawton looked up at the clouds, few and far off in the distance. It was a great day, a beautiful warm one, but he still felt slightly troubled. Here he was, leaving everything he ever knew to wander aimlessly and hopefully not become a Pokemon snack. He squeezed his hands into fists, trying to imagine slugging the Pokemon just before it could eat him.

Vances Aipom, Yoko, seemed to sense his troubled thoughts and climbed to his shoulders. It gazed at him, smiling its odd impish smile and enlightened him as best it could. Ai. It said, knowingly. Ai-pom.

He turned back for one final look at Twinleaf Town before beginning to walk. "Lets get this show on the road."

Vance raised his arm, trying to block the wind in his face. "Yoko, find a Pokemon for us to fight. I need some action." He growled.

"Keep it up, Yoko. Use Scratch again!"

it hit and bidoof got weak then used tackle

"Use Scratch once more! That should finish him off."

"Good job, Yoko. Let's find the next one" Vance smiled, giving the Aipom a thumbs up.

"Over there. Get it!" Vance pointed in the direction of the sounds.

"Get it, use Scratch!"

it hit then starly used quick attack

"This one is gonna be tough. Another Scratch."

"Try to dodge it and use Scratch one more time. That should weaken it a bit!"
