Battle Style: He is very analytic, not only in battle, but in his entire life. Sometimes, while in a battle, he thinks too long, and ends up in annoying the other trainers, if the battle hasn't started yet, or in hurting his own chances of winning. He tries to find the most efficient way of winning, which, unfortunatly for Tand, often ends up as the quickest way to loosing.

Looks: Tand would always describe himself as average hight, 5 foot 10, with bright red hair and pale skin. He was all these things. However, he wore very expensive clothes, including jeans that must've cost over $200 and a T-Shirt only worn by pokemon masters (his father won it for him in a contest). The T-shirt has a large pokeball on it, and is red and white around it. Tand is relatively skinny, but he has some muscles, ofcourse, he's never really had to use them. He doesn't like to wear anything on his head, though, so he doesn't.

Personality: Tand is not really very shy, but he keeps to himself often. He does have plenty of friends, but he's not a big talker. He thinks alot, analyzing everything. He loves pokemon, of course, but he is very logical, and not ruled by emotion. Tand has a lot to prove because his father was a great pokemon trainer, and Tand has to measure himself to his father. After he discovered his father was working with team rocket, he became determined to become a better pokemon trainer than his father.

History Tand's parents were both good pokemon trainers, but his father was very well-renown. His father had placed 3rd then 1st in two years in the Pokemon League. After this, he became an idol, battling in other contests and even doing commercials. One of Tand's earliest memories is watching his father again at the pokemon league, defeating a Blastoise with his Nidoking. As such, Tand has always wanted to be a great pokemon trainer. His father saw this, and made it a point to get Tand a pokemon. One Christmas, when Tand was 14, his father gave him a Rhyperion. He thought Tand would be happy, but the truth was that Tand wanted to catch his own pokemon. Tand once battled against his father with the rhyperion, to make his father feel better about the present, and it wouldn't listen to him.

The next year, again at Christmas, his father gave Tand a Trapinch, a well bred piece of work that the father had bought for a lot of money. Tand was happy to have a low level pokemon, that would at least listen to him and that he could train, but he still wanted his own.

One day, while his father was away on a trip, Tand was outside playing with Trapinch when he heard a loud noise. An Axew came running through the nearby woods. Tand thought this would be the perfect time to catch his own pokemon and prepared for a battle. However, the Axew had different plans. Axew ran up to Tand and held to him tight. Tand wondered what he could be afraid of, but then he saw the nearby trees rustling again. He though he saw someone before they retreated into the woods.

Tand, although not usually controlled by his emotions, did know how it felt to be the son of a celebrity. He believed that the person who owned this axew was to scared to come up to him because he was the son of his father. He ran back into the woods trying to find the person, carrying Axew in his hands and Trapinch running behind him.

He came to a clearing where several people were talking. Recognizing team rocket, he hid in a nearby group of bushes.

"You lost an Axew! Man boss will be mad."
"But we still have twelve more.."
"Yeah, but the boss knows how many we are supposed to have. Here he comes."

A dark figure approached from the forest. Tand couldn't see him behind the brush of the shrubs he was immersed in, but he did recognize the voice.

"... so, you lost one of my pokemon?!?! How dare you! You tell your leader down at Team Rocket that he better send another Axew here pronto or else he'll be in big trouble. Now go, get off my property..."

It was his father. In awe, Tand jumped out of the bushes and rushed away. Not knowing it was his son, his father ordered the rocket grunts after him. One of the rocket grunts tripped and the other stayed close behind Tand. As Tand reached his yard he turned around only to find that Trapinch was missing.

The rocket grunt walked out of the woods holding Trapinch, now tranquilized in his hand. Tand angrily through himself at the grunt, but the grunt had already thrown a pokemon, and his persian pushed Tand back. Just then, the Axew jumped in front of Tand, ready to fight. Tand stood back uyp and prepared for battle.

"Scratch attack Axew!" The Axew flew forward.

"Persian, bite!" The Persian rushed in. Axew swung his hand throwing the Persian away and leaving a scratch make on its face.

"Now Axew, takle." The Axew rushed in to the injured Persian and send it flying into a tree. Just then, the second grunt emerged from the forest. Tand was definantly outmatched now.

From behind, Tand heard, "Blastoise, hydro-pump." A huge amount of water sent the two grunts flying. It was his mother. Tand ran up to his Trapinch, which was now sleeping on the ground, and returned him to his pokeball. He then proceeded to tell his mother the entire story. His mother had a look of fear in her eyes:

"You need to get out of here. I'll keep Axew safe."

She handed him a backpack with supplies, five pokeballs, and about $15,000, and Tand rushed out, determined to return home and defeat his father one day. But first, he had to escape the region. He had his mother arrange a boat away from the Kanto region. He stepped on the ship; and the driver of the boat, only 17 himself asked Tand where to. Tand replied:

"Anywhere there's pokemon."

Personality: Oshawott is very stubborn, and refuses to listen to orders. It is a pokemon who like to work alone and prides itself on being the strongest.
