Exploring the city and seeing the sights

David entered the city Leavanny at his side and immediately entered the nearby pokemon centre calling out "Nurse Joy are you here?" and leant against the desk awaiting her to appear.

Nurse Joy came out of a back room, wiping her hands off on a towel.
"Can I help you?" she asked David brightly.

David smiled and replied "yes please miss may you take a quick look at all my pokemon make sure their all fit and healthy" David then smiled at Leavanny and returned his gaze Nurse Joy awaiting a reply from her.

"No problem!" said Nurse Joy, smiling. She took David's Poke Balls and deposited them into the flahing machine. After a moment they dinged and she took them out again, handing them back to David.
"Is there anything else I can do for you?" she asked.

David took a quick look around and said "yes would you know the way to the battle club as it would most definitely assist me in my compatibility checks as an S-Class connoisseur" and smiled as he allowed Leavanny out of her pokeball to walk along with him at his side.

Nurse Joy pulled a simple map out from under the counter. She marked the location of the Pokemon Center and the location of the Battle Club.
"Will that be all?" she asked pleasantly.

David smiled and examined the route memorizing it in his head as did Leavanny and he replied "yes miss thank you for your assistance" and tilted his hat down walking out of the pokemon centre and figuring before they went to the battle club they'd have a look around and see the sights taking in all of the buildings and greenery before coming to a rest at a statue where he sat down and thought for a few minutes that's when he saw a ________ running past looking quite flustered.

It was a male level 7 Patrat, hissing angrily at David!

David looked to the Patrat and wasn't too interested but he realized that this particular Patrat was itching for a fight so he told Leavanny "ok let's deal with this making it quick and short so use Leaf Storm, Leavanny" Leavanny then raised both of its arms into the air as its body became outlined in turquoise energy. A large number of glowing green leaves soon appeared around Leavanny's feet and floated around her, floating up until they reach her arms. The turquoise glow then faded and Leavanny pointed its arms at the opponent, firing the leaves at it with speed.

The leaves sliced and stabbed at Partrat, and the final one knocked it back fifty feet. It landed on the ground, bounced, landed again, skidded, and didn't move again beside its slow breathing.
Leavanny gained a whopping 7 EXP!

David called out Stoutland who wandered over to Patrat picking it up and placing it on his back David then said to Stoutland "Stoutland my friend would kindly take Patrat to the pokemon centre" Stoutland nodded turning and running to the pokemon centre, within minutes Stoutland had returned having dropped off Patrat and David returned him to his pokeball after saying "Thank you Stoutland get some rest" Stoutland disappearing in a red beam of light. David then clipped the pokeball onto his waist before wandering further along the path as he neared the entrance to the battle club a _________ ran out from a nearby alleyway and began growling at him so he called forth Reuniclus calling to it "Ok Reuniclus use Psywave" Reuniclus raising it's arms in front of it and firing off a multi-colored beam of energy at _________.

It was a Purrloin, level 5! Being a Dark Type, the Psywave didn't affect it!

The Purrloin stared cutely at Reuniclus and used Growl, making sweet "Purr"s in an attempt to lower Reuniclus's Attack.

David smiled "Now Reuniclus use Light Screen!" Reuniclus obliged and for a Light screen surrounding him which blocked out the noise until Purrloin was done in which he let down the Light Screen. David then called to Reuniclus "Ok now let's use Dizzy Punch!" Reuniclus drew back it's fist and flew at Purrloin with speed a glowing, sparkling and rainbow colored energy forming around his fist.

The last look on Purrloin's face was a look of indignation that David had used two moves in a row. Then it was flying through the air, knocked out before it hit the ground.
Reuniclus gained a massive 5 EXP.

David smiled returning Reuniclus to it's pokeball before entering the Battle club.
