Spectre [FanFic]

Once again, I wake to the blinding luminous sun, somehow so strong that it shines through my thin linnen fabric curtain. In a daze, I roll out of bed, and land on the side of my back. The fall knocks all my sense out of me, then it overwhelms me by flooding back in. I finally realize the reason the sun somehow shined through my thick curtain. It was my sister. She must have taken them from my room, and hid them somewhere. She's the most annoying person I've ever met in my life. The 16 year old brat keeps on stealing my curtain so that I feel like hell when I wake up.

I hear some footsteps in the doorway, and it's my sister. She examines me sprawled on the right side of my bed, and then walks out. That's unusual of her. She always makes some kind of smart-ass remark at me when I'm like this, or in a situation like this. I don't move and stare at my violet-red rug underneath me. It feels so soft to me, almost like laying in a field of cotton. A few moments later I hear her footsteps coming back in my room. When she enters, I look at her. She's holding a bucket of water.

"Oh sh-" I said as I rolled as swiftly as I could under my bed. The water splashed exactly on the spot that I was previously on. A few drips of water got on me, but that's it. I'm a clean kid, and my room was almost spotless. The bed had a few pieces of lint under it, but other than that, it was a clear roll to the other side. I got out from the other side, and stood up. I looked at my sis and said, "What the hell was that all about?"

"It was for you about to be late for school!" She pointed to the clock that read 8:30. The impact that I felt when I realized the time made me stagger back a little. I glanced over to where my sister was, but she was gone. I ran over to the door, closed it, and locked it. I took out my drawer and got dressed. When I was done, it was 8:37, 15 minutes to get to school. I unlocked my door, and opened it. I ran outside, and to school. When I got there, someone said, "Hey Spec, where's your book bag?" And then I got a horrified look on my face, and looked on my back. No book bag. I immediately turned around and ran back home. When I got near the steps, I saw my sister walking towards school. She had her arm out and had my book bag in it. I ran towards it and grabbed at it, only to get two armfuls of nothing. She lifted the bag up right before I grabbed it, and then started running towards her high school, which was a few blocks from my school. I didn't have time for this. I chased her for it, and chased her all the way until she got to her high school. I was panting hardly, and then she dropped the book bag right down infront of me.

"You're way to slow if you can't even catch up to me." And then she walked away into school with a group of her friends. I was too tired to say something back to her, and so I picked up my book bag and walked to school, ready to be late for the first day of school.
