To fight Koga (open)

Reina walked around the city with her Bulbasaur beside her. She sighed, "Using a grass type wouldn't be too good against poison." She told her Pokemon. She walked closer to the Safari Zone.

Something could be heard running from behind Reina, before something flew over her head. The figure over her head was wearing all black including what appeared to be a full face mask, although there were probably eye holes on the other side. Who these people were was a mystery, but judging by the way he did a forward roll as he landed and continued running, with three others who jumped off other houses in a similar manner, most people would probably say that they were ninjas.

"What the..." Reina began, she felt the need to run after them. She sighed, "Well it is Fuchsia City.... I heard this is the village of ninjas." She told herself. Bulbasaur nodded and she tilted her head as if asking if they should try to find the ninjas.

"Okay... let's go then." Reina said, picking up Bulbasaur and walking to where she saw the ninjas.

She soon found the ninjas punching street poles, not seeming to flinch as their knuckles smashe on the hard, dense wooden pole. Soon, a voice came from above one of the buildings, a female voice, "Who are you?" it bellowed, however whoever the speaker was wa not visible from Reina's current position.

Reina looked around the area, not knowing where the voice was coming from.
"Uh.. Reina Sato..." She answered.

The ninjas were now giving Reina their full attention, not evn worrying about punching the poles anymore. "Never heard of you," bellowed the voice again before a figure appeared above one of the houses. A girl wearing strange purple cothes who wouldnt look out of place in a child's superhero dress up party, "And what are you doing here?"

Reina stared at the girl, "Well... I'm in the city to fight the gym leader." She said. Bulbasaur nodded, she walked in front of her trainer, as if wanting to protect her.

The ninjas turned to each other, and the girl on the roof nodded and smiled, "Well then," she announced, causing the ninjas to turn to her, "You better go challenge her then," she smiled before jumping to the ground and doing a foward roll to soften the fall, "Im Janie, son of Koga, who is busy at the Pokemon League at the moment," she explained before walking towards the Gym, using her hand to usher Reina to follow.

Reina nodded, she followed Janine to the gym, "So your dad's in Kanto's Pokemon league?" She asked. Bulbasaur followed her.

"Kind of," she said, before wuickly opening the door to her Gym and sprinting to the other side of the gym and pressing a button next to her seat, "Now an invisible maze has opened up, you will need to pass through it to get to me, then you may challenge me," she explained, "Sorry but my dad forced me to."

Reina nodded, "Got it..." Bulbasaur also nodded, "Bulbasaur, use your vines to find the a way through the maze." She told her Pokemon. Bulbasaur nodded, "Bulba!" She cried, and her vines came out of her bulb, searching the area, banging into the glass of the invisible wall. Reina began to walk into the maze.

"Clever," nodded Janie as Reina moved through the maze, "Ive never seen that method before, the most common method is to use water attacks to soak the ground and the water will stop at the walls, nice to see something original for once," she complimented, before pulling out a Pokeball, ready to battle, "Ready?" she asked.

Reina rubbed the back of her head, "Hehe.. thanks." She said.
"Bulbasaur... I think I'll use someone else first okay?" She told her Pokemon. Bulbasaur nodded and walked behind her trainer.
Reina got out a Pokeball and sent it out, "Go Pikachu!" She said, releasing her Pokemon. An electric type, strangely with two tails.

"A pikachu eh?" Janine thought to herself before grabbing a Pokeball from her belt, then putting it back, before thinking some more, "Im not meant to change my lead pokemon base off my oppoments," she thought to herself before picking it back up and throwing it onto the field, "Go Crobat!" she shouted as Crobat came out of the pokeball in a flah of red light, "Use Supersonic," sh ordered and Crobat nodded, before letting out a high pitched squeal which was sure to confuse the neurons in thr brain.

The attack hit Pikachu, confusing him.
"Pikachu! Use thundershock!" Reina commanded. Pikachu seemed dizzy, and tried to shock Crobat, but ended up only shocking itself.

"Good, now slap it with your wings. Wing Attack!" shouted Janine so Crobat flew towards Pikachu and smashed him with its wings, but some of the excess negative electrons were still stored in Pikachu's fur, giving Crobat a zap and paralysing her. Now both Pikachu and Crobat were handicapped.

Reina nodded, "Good... Okay Pikachu! Let's try Electro Ball!" She shouted.
Pikachu nodded, seeming to be less confused, his tail began to glow and a ball of electricity formed on it. Pikachu ran at the Crobat and used Electro Ball, sending the ball at his opponent.

Crobat was laying on the ground, paralysed. Trying to dodge the attack, it was unable to move and was ht square in the face by the powerful attack. Janine watched in horror, "Use Wing Attack!" she shouted but it was no use, as hard a Crobat tried it couldnt move enough to even stay airborne, yet alone slap Pikachu with its wings.

"OKay! Pikachu now use Thunderbolt!" Reina said. Pikachu nodded and tried to shoot a bolt of electricity at out itself. (You decide if it hurt it's self)

The insane wild Thunderbolt wasnt targette very well, due to Pikachu's confused status, but Pikachu wasnt hurt by the blast an it went in Crobat's general direction, hitting it somewhat. Weak from all the electrical attacks, Crobat got up, now with the energy to be airborne, an used Wing Attack again on Pikachu, hoping not to cause any adverse effects this time.

The effects of confusion wore off of Pikachu.
"Dodge it!" Reina shouted. Pikachu attempted to dodge, but ended up taking most of the hit.
"Quick Attack!" His trainer commanded. Pikachu jumped up and ran at Crobat with quick speed.

Crobat fainted and Pikachu gained 36 EXP points. Janine nodded and returned Crobat to its Pokeball and sent out a Weezing, which was spitting poisonous gases everywhere, "Dont worry we have an air vent," she assured Reina before turning serious again, "Now use Sludge Bomb," she ordered so Weezing vomited toxic sludge which should explode on impact.

Pikachu was hit with the attack, it exploded on impact, leaving him very weak.
"Ah! Pikachu!" Reina cried, " Use Thundershock!" She commanded.
Pikachu sent a shock of electricity at Weezing.

Weezing was hit by the electrical charges and was shocke badly, but could keep fighting, "Come on Weezing, use daddy's finisher move," she ordered before lowering her voice to a deep dramatic bellow, "Toxic!" Weezing understood exactly what she meant, releasin piwerful ultra toxic gaseous clouds from inside it, which quickly went to engulf Pikachu and badly poison him.

Pikachu was badly poisoned as a result and the poison caused it to faint.
"You did good Pikachu." Reina said as she withdrawed him into her Pokeball.
"Now go Blastoise!" She shouted, sending out a Blastoise.
