Gaia's Travels

Gaia enjoyed just simply traveling now that she had beaten the Element League and had been named champion. She took part in a few Obstacle Contests but there wasn't another one scheduled to start for a week so she was enjoying the pleasent weather of Eartha Island

A young girl approched Gaia. She smiled at her. "Hey, I heard of you, I'm your biggest, cutest and boldest fan!", she declared. "I'm Velma.", she added.

"I'm Gaia. Nice to meet you Velma" Gaia says smiling sweetly at the girl

"So, um, I was wondering if I could travel with you?", she said a a Farlon approched them.

"Sure, it's been awhile since I've had human company with me traveling" Gaia says

The Farlon seems as bubbly as Velma and moves around like a fool. "Yeah!", she said as she pointed at the Farlon. "This is my pokemon Marshmellow!", she annouced.

Gaia calls out her pokemon. "This is Fire" she says holding her had under her Flaris. "Grass" she says moving her hand under her Grais who had a white flower on it's head. "Water" she says moving her hand under her Aquis. "Earth" she says picking up her Grouis which looked like a round, polished lump of silver with eyes and a mouth. "Light" she says setting Earth down and moving her hand under her Flyis. "And Darkness" she says moving her hand under her Ghosis

"Cool...", Velma said. "I've never ever caught a pokemon, and I kinda wanted another one, can you help me?", Velma asked.

"I can help you find one but how you catch it is up to you entirely" Gaia says

"Okay...", she said. "Marshmellow?", she asked Marshmellow. "You wanna find another friend?", she asked Marshmellow, who chimed out it's name. "That's agreed. But you can't even give me pointers?", Velma asked as she started moving around to look for a pokemon.

A small Pokemon shaped somewhat like an egg was waddling around nearby. It was a soft pink color, with a little pony-tail like swirl on top of its head. It looked as though it had a diaper-like pouch, and was carrying an egg-shaped stone in it. Imitating a Chansey or Blissey, there was only one Pokemon this could possibly be, and that was a Happiny, the baby form. It seemed to be waddling around, finding things to store in its pouch.

Velma was infatuated by the small pink pokemon. Instantly, she ran over to it, sitting down and smiling at it. "Your such a cute pokemon, I could just love you and hug you all day long!"Velma said excitedly.

"Happi? Nii?" The Happiny chimed, glancing over to the strange young girl. She seemed sweet, overly so. However, that was just the kind of attitude Happiny seemed to be attracted to. "Happiny! Happii!" it cooed happily, wagging its arms up and down as if to say hello to the young girl.

Marshmellow joined it's trainer. Velma smiled at Happiny. She waved a merry hand to Happiny. "I'd like to catch you so you can travel with me, is that alright Happiny?", Velma asked the Happiny as Marshmellow seemed distracted.

"Happiniiii" Happiny says cheerfully while waving her stubby arms around more. It was obvious she liked Velma and wouldn't mind traveling with her

"Okay then!", Velma said standing up. "Let have a battle then Happiny.", she said as Marshmellow flew over. He chimed out a short ,"Faaarr", before using Charm.

"You don't always have to battle to catch a pokemon" Gaia speaks up

Velma thought for a second. "But wouldn't it strengthen both Happiny and Marshmellow?", she asked Gaia. Velma expected Gaia to compliment Velma on her enthousiasm to battle, as Velma aspired to become many things.

"Mostly they both get hurt but it's up to you" Gaia says

Happiny uses Charm as well

Marshmellow wasn't distracted by Happiny's cuteness. Instead, velma sat infatuated by the small pink pokemon as Marshmellow floated over to Gaia.

"Hey there" Gaia says to Marshmellow.

Happiny laughs waving her stubby arms at Velma trying to get picked up

Velma picks up Happiny. "Your sooo cute.", she said as she smiled at Happiny.

Masrhmellow made a yawning noise. "Farlon...faaar...", it let out during the yawn, meraning something like, "She's been a bit off course lately".

Happyniiiiiii" Happiny says happily laughing

Gaia didn't understand Marshmellow and just pets her

Velma snuck a tap of her pokeball against Happiny.

Marshmellow purred.

Happiny goes into the pokeball and it Clicks shortly after
