Personality: Kent acts rather cold when other people are around. He pretends he doesn't care about anything but power but that's not fully the case. He does care, about pokemon and has a soft spot for children and small pokemon. If he sees someone mistreating their pokemon he'll step in. He can act like a jerk but if you hang around long enough you'll see he's not so bad
History: Pretty much everywhere Kent's went he's gotten a reputation for being a jerk by most. His parents made him wait till he was fourteen to start his journey and he wasn't to happy about that. His father told him he probably wouldn't become a big time pokemon trainer and that made him mad. When he got his Charmander he decided he would prove his father wrong. He started training his charmander to it's limits but was careful not to push it beyond those limits. Later he caught a Scizor. He kept training his pokemon till Charmander evolved to Charmeleon then he started traveling. He beat Brock in that gym battle and earned that badge. He decided to turn back and hunt a electric type before he moves on to battle Misty.
