Personality: Kintana is tough and can come off as cold. Rarely will she warm up to someone without a reason. She will trust very few. If she sees a pokemon in trouble she will stop at nothing to help. If she sees a trainer not caring for their pokemon, or worst abusing, she will do everything in her power to either take the pokemon away or change the trainer.
She hates using pokeballs, feeling like they force a pokemon to stay with a trainer. She rather give pokemon the choice to follow her, and if they wish to leave she wont stop them.
When she battles she gives no mercy. She would never push her pokemon harder then they can take, but she wont go easy on them either. They know she cares for them and share a common goal to become the strongest.
Her time is mostly spent in forest and woods among pokemon, training or helping those in need. But she loves nothing more then relaxing with her pokemon in the hot springs.
History: As a child, Kintana grew up with her parents in a home on the edge of the forest. She didn't have much interaction with other kids besides from going into town once a week. She would send much of her time getting lost and finding her way back home, learning the forest. Often she would find hurt pokemon and bring them home, heal them and set them back. Many of the pokemon grew to enjoy her family around. Her father was an ex-gym leader. Her mother was a nurse.
She found herself, as she grew up, to enjoy watching the baby Pidgey learning to fly. Watching the bird pokemon in the sky, seeming to fly into clouds and back out. Bird pokemon became her specialty.
When she was nine, she found a nest of baby Pidgey. Wondering where the mother was she set out to find her. With her fathers help, it took two days, but when they found the mother Pidgeotto it was took late. She had been attacked by an Arbok and poisoned. It had gone after her for feathers, a rare Shiny pokemon.
Her family took in the next of Pidgey and raised them. It was hard work but after a long few months, they were ready to leave. But one baby wouldn't go. The one that had taken a feather from it's mother and stuck it on itself. One shiny feather on it's tail. Kintana wouldn't force the baby to leave. She didn't want any of them to leave. But keeping one was just fine. She raised the Pidgey, trained it and they learned from each other. Since that day they never been a part.
