Aithne Awakens, People Problems

A young woman sat under a tree, a few leaves falling from it gently with the wind. Aithne Bloodwood was her name, and some might mistake her for being 13 or 14 years of age, but in reality she was 17, nearly 18 now. Her brown cap was pulled lightly down over her rich almond hair, the pink Sakura flower pinned to the side creating a lovely offsetting of the colors. Feet folded together at an angle, black boots with silver buckles covering them she read a book. Her green eyes scanning the pages as the wind played at them, almost trying to turn the pages itself. The pleated edge of her mini dress ruffled with the breeze, the tan, almost pinkish color offsetting the nearly completely black outfit.

At her side, a black dog like Pokemon with what looked like ribs and a skull on the outside of its body lay on a pink scarf, head resting on the girl's lap. The species that would be recognized as a Houndour yawned widely, glancing up at her trainer on occasion. After turning the page once more, the girl put a bookmark in the new page, and closed the book. She glanced down at the Houndour and smiled, patting her on the head before putting the book in her nearby satchel.

"It's a quiet and peaceful day, isn't it, Kita?" she asked the Pokemon, scratching behind her ear. The Pokemon partially rolled over so that her trainer could rub her chest, and opened her mouth in what looked like a wide grin, tongue hanging out happily. "No people have bothered us, and not a cloud in sight. Such nice weather..." Aithne said, tilting her head back against the tree and closing her eyes to let the wind play at her long hair.

After the little adventure with strange people, Enrique and his wooper continued their jurney. It was wonderfull day in Violet so they have decided to take a break in nearby meadow. The wind played with his spiked blond hair and his blue eyes sparkled like ocean in the sun. As usual he was listening to music with wooper on his sholders.

They saw a gril with Houndour under the canopy of a large tree. ''She looks young and unexperienced'' thought Enrique and he came closer to an unknown young girl '' Hello, my name is Enrique, pleasure to meet you.'' grinned he along with wooper.

Aithne heard footsteps coming, and her eyes shot open in an instant. They turned to a hazel color, turning a bit cold in a way. "Guess I spoke too soon, Kita..." she uttered, a sense of annoyance welling up simply from the existence of this other person. Kita glanced up, then began to wag the little stub of a tail she had. "I don't get you, Kita...such unconditional love for nearly all people...you're practically the exact opposite of me..." she said quietly, looking down at Kita as her eyes softened a bit.

His voice rang in her head, and her eyes sharpened again. The now nearly gold eyes shot up to the boy, almost glaring. Why, oh why do people insist on socializing?! she thought, her eyes closing in an irate fashion. She took a deep breath, and slowly stood, Kita standing and moving back as she had now changed the comfortable position. Opening her eyes at the boy, they seemed slightly less intense now, no more than a hazel brown with specks of green mixed in.

"Aithne..." she said in response, then lifted her satchel, throwing it over her shoulder. She motioned to Kita, who picked up the scarf in her mouth and met at Aithne's side. She gently took the scarf from the puppy Pokemon, then turned toward the route east of them. "Wish I could say the same..." she muttered, then started walking.

Enrique looked at her surprisingly. '' Excuse me, I think we havent finished our conversation yet. '' says Enrique trying to look like nothing happend. And started to follow her.

Aithne gritted her teeth, feeling her pet peeves slowly being irritated more and more. She was...how any person would put it; NOT a people person. "Oh...but I think we have..." she said, her voice calm, yet dark and cold. She continued walking forward, out onto the route. Kita glanced back at the boy, then up to Aithne. Ever since the girl at the high school, she'd tried very hard to avoid people all together. Sad really, since she used to be such a nice girl...

This girl has serious social problems thought Enrique and continue to follow Aithne. '' Maybe you wanna battle? Then we can talk, maybe?'' said Enrique with funny looking serious face. '' Woopa-Woop'' smiled Wooper.

Aithne stopped, it was obvious this boy wouldn't leave her alone. She groaned, looking at the Wooper. She knew he had the advantage over her, no matter who she used against him. "Forget it, I'm not stupid. I'm not gonna put my Pokemon at risk over someone like you."

'' Whats wrong? You afraid? '' said Enrique laughing.

"I'm not afraid, you persistent little pest. I'm smart, there's a difference. My Pokemon are weak to yours, no matter which one I use, and so I'm not going to risk their safety just to prove something to a sniveling brat like you..." Aithne says through gritted teeth, Kita now looking up worriedly at her. She had a rather short temper, and Kita knew this wasn't looking good. If the kid kept at it, he might just get what was coming...and it certainly wasn't a Pokemon battle.

A boy was walking slowly, he was drawing on a sketch book, not realising anything that was in his way. He seemed to be real busy drawing his surroundings, and seemed to be real talented at it. The boy had natural, grey hair. He wore a cap with grey coloring and silver front. His orange eyes looked like it was glowing, though under the shade of his cap, and red bandana. Also under the shade of his hair, which was put in the wolf style. He had a scar on his left cheek reaching right down to his chest. He wore a brown coat with no shirt, he also wore chains on his neck. His Ninjask called and began to show off by zooming around him so fast that the eye cannot see it. The boy didnt seem to know or bother, still walking, he was done drawing half of the surrounding.

Aithne's anger welling, her vision began to blur. She started to imagine kicking him, knocking him down and pummeling him with her fists. Kita put her ears back frightened. She knew Aithne wouldn't harm her, but didn't like when she got mad like this. Aithne felt a warmness rush over her, as her vision faded to black. She halted, her muscles tensing and relaxing, before quickly spinning around, one leg rising to the occasion to kick.

The boy, still busy drawing, not realising the migty leg, was hit on the jaw! The boy let go of his sketch book and pencil, as he covered his mouth, as his toungue bleeded. He went out of balance and went sideways, to touch a near by board to get back on balance.
"What was that for?"
He asked, blankly. His Ninjask stopped zooming around and tilted his head.
"Nin nin?" (You okay?)

Enrique reacted on Aithe's action '' Who are you calling ''persistent little pest.'' you are my age and you are scared to battle me, because you know that you will lose!'' yelled he. Then he spotted that her pokemon is scared and looking on her trainer sadly and scared at the same time. '' Fine if you dont want to battle, its okay. I've just wanted to be friends with you. '' said Enrique watching ground sadly.

Daisuke, not hearing to what the boy ended with, now got a bit annoyed. He sent out his Shedinja, now paired with Ninjask. "Always going quack quack about fighting, always trying to destroy their surrounding, always trying to break the peace, obessed with injuring pokemon." He growled. "You want a fight, I'll give you a fight!"

Aithne paritally came to when the other boy was knocked, semi realizing she'd not hit her target. Her teeth clenched a bit, then she glanced to her target, still spouting his bull. "Don't compare me to yourself, you ignorant little insect! You're the grime this earth is covered with. What kind of a way is that to make friends, challenging them to fight. You don't fight friends, you fight enemies!" she shouted, before hearing her victim get up and mumble, the clear *pop* of pokeballs being opened. She glanced over, looking at his bloodied face, and demeanor. "What now..." she growled low, fists clenched tightly. Kita jumped in front of her, to protect her from the bug Pokemon.

"You guys watch out, you kicked me in the jaw.."
He murmured. "No more fighting, I'll warn you, that I am really much more experienced than the both of you bombined." He looked innocent. "I can assure you that, even proof if you guys want to lash out, I tell you, stop fighting and calm down"

Aithne rolled her eyes, already more than tired of the situation. She figured she'd leave the two clowns to their own, and get away from them...fast! "Come on, Kita..." she murmured, side stepping around the injured boy, walking forward. In a flash, she began to sprint, quickly exiting the visible sight of the two she considered morons.
