Personality: Silent type to people he doesn't know. He wouldn't say a thing unless they talk to him. Once he gets to know a person, they'll find out that he's the kind, cocky, jolly and protective guy. He also has a bad side, his a show-off. He's a man of his word and gets attracted to girls and will try his best to present himself as neatly and as cool as he can.

He likes to hang around and when he has free time, he either meditates or practice his Taekwondo skills.
History: The story of Hwoarang's life is wild. First, he was a friend, turned to monster and back to friend again and will forever be...

Eight years before, Hwoarang joined a freestyle fighting tournament to prove himself that he's the strongest Taekwondo fighter in history. He has no interest in Pokemon and such. While in the tournament, he's excitement and happiness brought him to an uncontrollable annoyance when speaking to others. A lot were annoyed but there are two who didn't get annoyed and understood him. One is a Karate master and is also a Dragon Trainer with a lot of strong Dragon types with him. The other one uses freestyle in fighting and also claims to have a Darkrai but is never confirmed if he really has one.

The two became his friends for long time and they had a lot of fun. He had unforgettable moments with the two. To the Karate master, Hwoarang always gets good advices from him when he's in disaster and in times he doesn't know what to do. To the guy who claims to have a Darkrai, they had a lot of information and researches about unidentified galactic command of unknown Pokemon that are said to be watching over Earth and are secret creations of Arceus.

A lot happened until one day...

Something made Hwoarang think of unleashing havoc on the tournament. He went there early and there's only a few people there. He went to the bathroom and sticked a lot of sticky notes on the walls with annoying messages. He then sticked notes on other parts not visible to others. Time passed and there's a lot of people wondering who did it. Hwoarang acted like he didn't knew what happened and helped in searching who did it. The owner of the tournament found out that Hwoarang did it. He didn't knew there are hidden security cameras in there. He was then banned from joining the tournament.

While banned, he had no source of income. He thought of another source, he sold foods around the town and it worked. It took him days before he received a letter that he is unbanned and is now allowed to join the tournament. He returned back and a lot are totally pissed off while his Karate master friend, as usual, asked him why he did it and understood him and gave useful advices which Hwoarang followed.

The next day, there's a new girl who joined in the tournament. First time Hwoarang saw her, he fell in love and thought of ways to get her attention. After days of thinking, he managed to accomplish his plans with the help of his friends. He found out that the girl is a Mistress Aura Trainer and uses his aura skills in tournament. After weeks, the girl became his friend.

Weeks after, Hwoarang thought of another stupidity. He did put sticky notes around the tournament facility and they found who did it and he was banned forever. Good for him, he has his friends' contact numbers so his Karate master friend gave him advice while the guy who owns a Darkrai got pissed off and ignored him for weeks along with the aura trainer.

Hwoarang got so angry to himself and can't accept the fact that he has to sell foods to get income. He can't work in office or others because... he just doesn't want it. He wants a source of income that will make him look cool. He had no choice than to sell food for weeks. But then, another stupidity came to his mind...

He became a robber for a long time and the cops had trouble finding him. One day, he robbed a store but he left his gun on his home. The guy who owns the store sent a Pokemon out and it lulled Hwoarang to sleep.

A few hours later... Hwoarang woke up inside a police hospital. He's arrested and had been in prison for so long.

Years passed and he was set free. His friends knew what happened to him and among all of them, the Karate master remained a friend to him and got angry because he thought Hwoarang didn't take his advices. They argued but ended up understanding each other and becoming friends again. His friend who is suspected having a Darkrai phoned him and told him that he doesn't trust him anymore and now hates him. The aura trainer never answered calls from Hwoarang.

He was so sad so he changed his life. He accepted his job to sell food. Weeks after, his Karate master friend got banned forever on the tournament for getting a fight with the owner and the owner got hospitalized and is currently eating food through a straw. Hwoarang laughed so hard on the news and both of them planned to change their lives. They helped each other in thinking of cool ways to spend their lives. The Karate master thought of continuing his role as a Dragon trainer. Hwoarang got inspired and the Karate master helped him become an official trainer. The Karate master gave him a Charmander and some Pokeballs.

Then so, they said bye-byes and went on a separate journey hoping to meet each other someday and fight with their Pokemon. The trust of his friend who claims to have a Darkrai is not confirmed whether it returned or not. Same as to the aura trainer...
